This refrigerator has it all, from the Keurig K cup coffee maker inside the door to a smart dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This refrigerator is costly and I was expecting better.
Other than that however, this refrigerator is a great choice. It comes with a huge freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door fridges, and it holds a fair amount of frozen food in comparison to similar models.
The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on par for the size of a French door fridge costing this much. It also has a decent sized ice maker in the left door, but it's not the biggest I've seen.

This fridge is ideal for a small household or a kitchenette with a built-in appearance and top-of-the line food preservation.
This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for various reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed more than a fraction - this is crucial to avoid freezer burn. The top shelf on the right can be folded to provide more space for tall items. You'll also find a full width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.
One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer ice into the fridge to be used when it is needed. The freezer also comes with innovative design features such as sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It also has a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food items as well as a separate storage bin for ice.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't improve the performance of the fridge. The fridge took a bit longer to defrost food and chill it than the other fridges we tested. This could be due to its bigger capacity.

Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also less expensive than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it a desirable choice.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost you a fortune this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a simple fridge that might not be as appealing like some of its competitors however it has enough features to make it a suitable choice. Its most notable characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer, which helps keep foods such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser as well as a good ice machine that works fast.
The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is another excellent feature. The drawer lets you direct some of the fridge's cooling power to this area, so that you can store foods that require extra attention. You can alter this feature using the slider located on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling setting for the entire fridge but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends be more effective than specific ones.
In my tests, I found that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent across different parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the fridge didn't differ much from 38 degrees. That's a good performance, but it doesn't quite be among the top in our rankings.
This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also combine this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's internal temperature.
The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
